WHOOP! alerts

• Turn them on: sign in, open the Map tab, tap the gear icon (top right), make sure WHOOP alerts is on, then tap Turn on background alerts. Allow location While Using, then Change to Always Allow, then allow notifications.
• Check the sound: on the same screen tap Test the WHOOP and lock your phone. A sample alert arrives about 10 seconds later.
• No sound? Check the ring/silent switch (or Action button), make sure Focus or Do Not Disturb is off, and that WHOOP! WHOOP! sound is switched on in the app.
• No alerts at all? On iPhone open Settings → Saw a Squatch: set Location to Always and turn Notifications on.
• Turn them off: gear icon → Turn off background alerts. Signing out also stops all background location use.

Your account

• Forgot your password: on the Profile tab choose Log in, then tap Forgot password?
• Delete your account: Profile → Delete account, or see how to delete your account without the app.
• Who can join: Saw a Squatch is for people 13 and older; members under 18 need a parent's or guardian's permission.

Safety and reporting

• Report a post, comment, member or message with the flag icon (or a long press). Moderators review every report.
• Block a member from their profile. Unblock any time from Profile → Blocked members.
• Sighting reports are unverified. Respect private property and local laws, and stay safe outdoors.
