Saw a Squatch Terms of Use

Draft for owner review — not yet published. Last revised October 29, 2026.

These terms are an agreement between you and Send It Media LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we”, “us”), which operates Saw a Squatch. They govern use of the Saw a Squatch app and related features. Questions: whoop@sawasquatch.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

Who can use Saw a Squatch

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use Saw a Squatch. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms for you. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will delete it.

Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use the service lawfully. Do not impersonate others, operate abusive accounts, or attempt to bypass security controls. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Unverified sightings; personal safety

Sightings are reports, anecdotes, or community submissions, not verified scientific findings or assurances that wildlife or a Sasquatch is present. Locations may be approximate or inaccurate. Never trespass, drive distracted, enter unsafe terrain, approach dangerous animals, or ignore posted restrictions because of an app report or alert. You are responsible for your own safety and local-law compliance.

Community rules

We may review reports, restrict visibility, remove content, suspend accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests. You can report or block members through available in-app controls or contact support.

Content ownership and license

You retain ownership of content you create. When you submit it, you grant Saw a Squatch a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, process, and distribute that content as needed to operate, moderate, and promote features you have chosen to use, subject to our Privacy Policy and your account controls. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant that license.

Optional subscriptions and founder status

The launch edition may offer only a free Observer account. If paid Tracker or Guide tiers or one-time Founding 999 recognition are made available, their prices, benefits, renewal rules, cancellation options, and any applicable purchase terms will be shown before checkout. Founder recognition does not automatically include an ongoing paid subscription unless explicitly stated at purchase. Store-billed plans are managed through the respective Apple or Google account; website-billed plans through the stated checkout provider.

Changes and availability

Features may change, be limited, or become unavailable for maintenance, safety, legal, or operational reasons. We will not knowingly misrepresent the availability of a paid feature at checkout.

Disclaimers and liability

The service and user-generated reports are provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee the accuracy of reports, uninterrupted availability, or any particular result from using the service. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Stopping use and deletion

You may stop using the service and request account deletion in the app or through our account deletion page. We may restrict access for serious or repeated violations. If a paid subscription exists, deleting an account does not necessarily cancel an external store subscription; follow the purchasing provider's cancellation instructions.

Updates and contact

We may revise these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice. For support or legal inquiries, email whoop@sawasquatch.com.
